Aired over the HBO cable channel, Tales from the Crypt was a horror anthology series that ran from 1989 to 1996. Many big-name stars, directors and producers contributed to the success of the series. In December of 1994, Shelley appeared in one of the most memorable episodes of the entire series, "The Assassin". She played a housewife who finds herself surrounded by hitmen who have come to eliminate her husband, a rouge government assassin. Shelley's performance in the episode was superb. The entire series has been released on DVD, but there are some fans who wish it was streaming.
