Great Reviews

Shelley starred in the Jack Heifner play Vanites back in 1981, right after her stint on Charlie's Angels. Filmed for HBO's Standing Room Only series, the play was about the interrelationships of three women from the time they were in high school to their womanhood in the 1960s. Co-starring with Shelley were Meredith Baxter-Birney and Annette O'Toole. Shelley got great reviews for her portrayal of Mary, the free-thinker of the bunch. She even impressed her biggest detractor during her Charlie's Angels days Ed Lakso with her performance.
