Shelley appeared in many sewing catalogs when she was a model. In 1971, she appeared on the cover (with Susan Dey and another model) and pages of the Simplicity School Catalog Fall/Winter catalog. On the cover, she and other girls wore pattern no. 9573. It was a pattern for a pair of shorts/pants/knickers with a Bib. The shorts/pants/knickers had a back zipper and the waistbands had suspenders fastened to the Bib with hook-up closures. The knickers had elastic leg casings and a patch pocket on the bib. Shelley wore the shorts version and looked young and fresh.
