Shelley appeared on the pages of the Carefree Patterns From McCall's catalog, the July/August 1974 edition. The big book catalog featured the latest fashion patterns from McCall's for that summer season. Shelley appeared on several spreads throughout the catalog. With Shelley in the spread was her fellow uber model of the era, Patti Hansen (later Mrs. Keith Richards.)

In one spread, she modeled several McCall's patterns. She wore pattern 4114 which was a semi-fitted, lined vest with front button closure and side slits and a floor-length skirt with an elastic waist, side seam pockets and a back slit. A bracelet and flowers on the hair finished her look. She also wore pattern 4106 which was a short-sleeved top with contrasting fronts, front facings and collar and a self-tie belt over a midi-length skirt. Matching summer sandals finished her look. Shelley looked ready for those cool summer outings.
