Shelley appeared on the cover of the French mag Tele Star (TV Star) in August, 1979 with the headline "Charlie's Angels: The Rotation Continues with Shelley Hack." Shelley came in to fill in the spot Kate Jackson had vacated. Two years earlier, Cheryl Ladd took over from Farrah Fawcett.
