Shelley appeared in an ad for Jacobson's in 1977. In it, she modeled a fabulous suit and skirt ensemble by Adele Simpson. Adele Simpson was a Coty Award winning fashion designer who dressed first ladies like Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon and Barbara Bush. Aside from Jacobson's, Bonwit Teller, B. Altman and Saks Fifth Avenue also carried her clothing line.
