Shelley starred in Frederick Forsyth Presents: A Casualty of War - the first of a series of TV movies writtten by Frederick Forsyth. She played Monica Browne, love interest to the film's lead character Tom Rowse, played by David Threlfall. It was filmed entirely in Europe and was relesed in 1990. Forsyth introduced the film to viewers.
