Shelley appeared on the cover of Simplicity fashion catalog's September 1972 issue. On the cover, she modeled Simplicity pattern 5068, a bias sleeveless dress perfect for wearing around campus. Shelley appeared on many Simplicity catalog covers and pattern packages throughout the 1970s. She was an in-demand model and was working constantly. Eventually, she catapulted to Supermodel status when she began endorsing Revlon Charlie perfume.
