Shelley appeared in many ad during her Supermodel days. She appeared in several ads for Jacobson's which was a regional department store chain that focused on high-end apparel, fine jewelry and home furnishings. It was known for personalized customer, fashion shows as well as its posh atmosphere. In 1977, Shelley appeared in their ad which featured an outfit by American fashion designer Adele Simpson. She wore an original by the designer made up of a ruffle-collared paisley-print blouse with long sleeves under a tweed woman's suit with contrasting buttons and piping details around the skirt waist. Gold button earrings finished her look. And Shelley looked every inch a sophisticate.
