Shelley appeared in the fashion spread called "Classy Classic Clothes." It featured clothes "you can count on" and "build a whole wardrobe around." It featured classic fashion pieces that could be mixed and matched with other pieces in any woman's current wardrobe. Shelley wore The Basic Black Suit - a clean-lined basic daytime suit that could be worn with other existing wardrobe pieces and still look cool and unruffled. It was in a crisp lineny fabric that stayed in mint condition wear after wear. The tailored jacket had wide lapels and patch pockets, while the A-line skirt was cut on the bias for a fab fit. She wore it with the blouse of The Palazzo Ensemble (also featured in the spread) and two-toned pumps. An earring and necklace set, a matching belt and a two-toned clutch finished her look. Shelley also wore The Palazzo Ensemble. It was two-piece/blouse and pants ensemble that had a soft romantic feel to it and could be worn day or night. The printed blouse (which Shelley also wore with the The Basic Black Suit) was made from Arnel Plus crepe and could be worn as is or with a matching self-tie bow around the neck. The printed palazzo pants was made from the same Arnel Plus crepe and had legs so wide they could pass for an evening skirt. Matching black pumps finished her look. Matching earrings, necklaces and a bracelet accessorized her look. And Shelley looked fab as always. Also in the spread was Bruce Bauer, who later starred with Shelley in the Charlie's Angels episode "Toni's Boys" which was aired in April of 1980.
