Shelley appeared on the pages of Glamour magazine's October 1972 issue. In the spread called "Sweater Pets", she modeled beautiful sweaters that had such a soft furry look to them it would tempt admirers to pet them. The sweaters had a way with color and shape as well, they were great to wear alone over a pair of pants or a skirt with a bit of jewelry like ivory bracelets and big beaded necklaces. Shelley wore a cream puffed-sleeved sweater with eyelet work and pale blue stripes by March II over a pair of flannel pants by Cacherel. She also wore a blue and white sweater reader's could knit themselves with yarn from Brunswick Yarns; and accessorized it with a Willie Woo necklace. In both sweaters, Shelley looked fab as always.
