Shelley appeared on the cover and pages of Simplicity School Catalog's Fall-Winter 1972 issue.
The issue showed readers what it was all about for that fall when it came to the latest fashion trends. The latest looks came in the new length - which was the length readers liked best. No longer dictated by anyone, both long and short skirts were in style. And classics too were updated - this time in brighter-than-ever plaids, in brighter-than-ever colors. Fabric mix-ups was the latest trend too for both men and women - as well as ties in an array of fabrics and patterns. Topstitching details, quilting, white collars and cuffs were all on-trend - as well as the shirt tail. All-in-all, the fun young look was the newest trend at the time.
