Shelley on the back cover
of a 1979 Bee Gees record sleeve
(released in Spain)
Shelley was THE quintessential Charlie Girl and appeared in many, many ads as well as promotional materials for the brand. In 1979, she appeared on the record sleeve of a Bee Gees promo single/record which was released in Spain. The 7" 45 rpm record contained two Bee Gees songs. Side A contained the monster hit "Too Much Heaven"; and Side B contained the lesser known hit "Rest Your Love On Me". The front cover of the record sleeve featured a promo pic of the Bee Gees - brothers Robin, Barry and Maurice Gibb. The back cover of the record sleeve featured Shelley in an ad promoting the Charlie fragrance and Charlie cosmetics.
