Shelley was THE quintessential Charlie Girl and appeared in many, many ads for the Charlie by Revlon brand. In 1978, she appeared in a newspaper ad for Charlie that was geared towards the holiday season. The ad showcased the various Charlie gift ideas/collections that were perfect for the holidays. There was the Classy Charlie Classics set (containing 2 1/2 oz. of Charlie Cologne and 3 oz. of Charlie Dusting Powder), and the First-Time Charlie set (containing 1/2 oz. of Charlie Cologne and 2 oz. of Charlie Body Silk). There was the holiday-packaged 7 oz. Charlie Concentrated Perfume Spray, the holiday-packaged 2 1/2 oz. Charlie Perfume with matching pouch, and the 1 1/2 oz. Charlie Body Silk Perfumed Powder. Also in 1978, Shelley appeared in a magazine ad for Charlie that described the many fabulous facets of being a Charlie Girl while promoting the various Charlie beauty products (Charlie Cologne Spray, Charlie Eau de Cologne, Charlie Talc, Charlie Dusting Powder, Charlie Bath Soap, and Charlie Bath Gelee) that made perfect gifts for that holiday season. And Shelley, of course, appeared in both ads, looking Charlie fabulous and Charlie gorgeous as always.
