a closeup of Shelley from an ad for Vicky Vaughn, 1972
Shelley has appeared on many ads for Vicky Vaughn. Vicky Vaughn was the junior clothing line of R & M Kaufmann, Inc, a clothing manufacturer that produced high quality garments at affordable prices (It was eventually sold to Russ Togs in 1969.) In 1972, she appeared in an ad called "Plaids 'n Lassies" which featured lively layered looks in woven acrylic with rib knit combos. Shelley wore The Sweatered Whirl, a rib-knit sweater top paired with an above the knee whirl skirt. A matching belt and footwear finished her look. And Shelley looked fab in it as usual.
