The catalog contained all the essentials and must-haves for the Summer season of that year. It featured lateast sports equipment, footwear and fashions available at Sears along with a usual hodgepoge of items buyers might be interested in.

On the cover, Shelley modeled the Knit Skimmer Dress for Juniors. It was a white tennis shift dress (very common during the era) that had a mini scalloped hemmed skirt edged with a sporty red, white and blue printed hemming ribbon. It was sleeveless, had a scoop neck and was cut close to the body for easy movement. She also modeled the latest tennis raquet available. With her bobbed hair clipped away from her face, Shelley was ready to hit the tennis court.
