Shelley appeared in many sewing catalogs when she was a model. In 1971, she appeared on the cover and pages of the Simplicity School Catalog Fall/Winter catalog. In one spread, she wore pattern no. 9471, a long madras dress with soft shoulders and puffy sleeves. A matching ribbon belt, a choker and a pair of pumps finished her look. Shelley looked young and up-to-the-minute.
