Shelley became THE Charlie Girl in 1976. Her image catapulted the brand (as well as herself) to iconic status. When everyone talks about Charlie perfume, it is her image that always comes to mind. That effervescent smile, that stride and that confidence is what everyone associates with the Charlie brand. Her Charlie Girl tenure lasted until 1982, the longest one for the brand.
