By 1979, five actresses had become Charlie's Angels - Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd and Shelley Hack. The fascination for Charlie's first five Angels was at an all-time high. Their pics were everywhere. Incumbent or not, each Angel was being written about, photographed and scrutinized to the hilt. The pressure of super-stardom was felt by each of the women. Tanya Roberts, who became an Angel a year later, was pulled in as well.
